    The 9th International (Shanghai) Friction and Sealing Material and Technologies Exchange and Products Exhibition will be held on June 6 - 8, 2007 in Shanghai Everbright Convention and Exhibition Center (66 Caobao Road, Xuhui District, Shanghai) by China Friction & Sealing Material Association.

    The event shall see a serial of activities be held with the theme of “Innovation, Branding and Trust”.

    The annual event has become a big get-together for our member companies and industrial insiders. As usual, we shall continue offering the 2 simultaneous platforms for exchanges of friction and sealing technologies and showcase relevant products within the same hall. You are welcome to attend this valuable event.

    All the speeches shall be free of charge. All the to-be-selected theses shall be submitted along with a PowerPoint companion, and expected time of speech (including that for interpretation) shall not exceed 40 minutes. Topic and abstract of your thesis should be submitted before April 30. In view of edition convenience, please send your electronic copy of thesis to the Editors’ Department of the Association before the event begins. Articles of poor content and advertisement intention shall not be accepted.

    V. Exhibition

    1. Venue: 1st Floor, East Hall (map of booths to be supplemented later)
    2. Exhibition duration: 9:00 June 6 to 12:00 June 7
    3. Booths: 175 booths of 3m×3m are to be planned. Discussion is open for special        decorated exhibition.Standard booths are of 3m×3m×2.5m (L×W×H) size, with 1        table, 2 chairs,2 shooting lamps, 1 220V socket and 1 lintel board. Renting of        additional exhibition facilities is open for discussion.
    4. Charge: US$ 1500 for each standard booth
    5. Translation service: 1 college student of English major shall be with each            booth, providing free communication service.
       All the exhibitors shall be given the favorable treatment as before.Each booth       will be given 2 cards of exhibitors and 2 sets of dining coupons, all
      free of charge.With the cards of exhibitors,you can attend the reports       conferences.
    6. Note: Charge for booths should be remitted to the Association before
      April 20.Please notify us by email or fax when you have made such a
       remittance,for our convenience of cross checking. We shall confirm your order
       by email.Please kindly hold a copy of our confirmation email to clear the
       exhibitors’procedures.
    7. How to fix on the booths: In the sequence of remittance we received.
    8. About the proceedings: the Association shall print 5000 copies of proceedings,
       which shall be sent to our professional visitors. Each standard booth is given
       free of charge a 1/2 A4 advertising space, and each exhibitor’s brief
       introduction shall be printed in the proceedings and publicized online on the
       Association’s web portal. All the exhibitors should send their electronic
      copy of brief introduction in both Chinese and English to the
      Association before April 20. The exhibitor shall bear the outcome of not
       being recorded into the proceedings if he can not provide relevant document in
       time.

    9. Content of Exhibition
    （1）Friction materials and supporting products:
    Friction materials, braking and transmission products (e.g. braking disc, clutch disc, braking tile, braking belt and braking block) for automobiles, trains, motor bikes, bicycles, aircrafts, drillers, cultivating machines and industrial machinery; synthetic fiber, mineral fiber, cellulose fiber, wooden fiber, Aramid fiber, glass fiber, ceramic fiber, sisal fiber, carbon fiber, steel fiber, cooper fiber, aluminum fiber, synthetic resin, rubber, adhesive, phenol, cardanol, mold release agents, friction powder, rubber powder, molybdenum bisulfide, stibium sulphide, zinc stearate, graphite, vitriolic barium, vermiculite, iron powder, ceramic powder, sepiolite, wollastonite, isinglass powder, calcium carbonate, carbon black, brown corundum, zircon powder, coke powder, pad back plate, clevis, clutch press disc, muffling piece, alarm, spring, calipers and other devices; brakes, clutches, calipers, friction discs; spare parts of different variety, moulds, machinery, equipment and technologies for production and quality checking.

    （2）Sealing materials and supporting products:
    neoprene rubber seal material for varied vehicles, industrial machinery and processing equipment; sealing bushings, cylinder gasket, washer, coiling washer, metal gasket, O-type gasket, coils; tinplate, super-thin steel plate, enhancing materials, filling materials; Aramid fiber, steel fiber, PTFE fiber, flexible graphite fiber, mineral fiber, wooden fiber, glass fiber, ceramic fiber, graphite, carbon black, talcum powder, sepiolite, wollastonite, isinglass powder, calcium carbonate, rubber, rasin, latex, rubber adhesive, sulfurizing agent, accelerant, anti-aging agent, coupling agent, isolating agent, solvent, supplementary materials, moulds, supporting machinery, equipment and technologies for production and quality checking.a

    10. Sending exhibition items in advance: all the exhibition items should be trusted to a door-to-door service provider for transport.

    VI. Report Conferences
    Admittance only with the cards of representatives or exhibitors.

    VII. Titled Thanks-Giving Banquet and Gala
    1. Titled Banquet
    The organizing committee shall hold a grand thanks-giving banquet to be titled by the Diamond Sponsor, for the exhibitors and representatives. Entrance ticket is required.

    2. Artistic gala
    In order to enrich your stay with us, we arrange an artistic performance along with the titled thanks-giving banquet. Any member company is welcome to contribute performance in any style (e.g. chorus, solo, duo, comic dialogue, intonation, instrumental play, instrumental ensemble, opusculum, acrobatics, gastriloquy, patter, martial arts, dance and etc.). Generally speaking, each member company shall contribute no more than one program, fees on his own. Programs to be submitted before April 20, 2007. Selection of the programs shall be finalized by the Chairman’s Office.
    Awards for the programs: 1 gold winner, 2 silver winners, 3 bronze winners and several memorial winners. All the winners shall be awarded certificates and souvenirs.

    3. On-site lottery games
    In the process of the thanks-giving banquet and the performance gala, we will arrange lottery games. The only special winner shall get 1 digital camera; the 3 first-prize winners, 8 second-prize winners and 66 third-prize winners shall be given correspondent prizes.

    VIII. About Registration
    1. Registration charge: US$ 250/guest (covering the costs for attendance qualification, documents, meals, souvenirs and the grand banquet), payable either in advance or at the venue.
    2. Time of registration: all day of June 5, 2007
    3. Venue of registration: Lobby of Shanghai Everbright Convention & Exhibition International Hotel (Building B, 66 Caobao Road, Xuhui District, Shanghai)
    4. Deadline for Return Receipt: May 10, 2007 (this is the deadline for guest room lease)
    5. The organizing committee shall arrange your accommodation as per the order of Return Receipt. With the receipt and clearance of payment, you can pick up the proceedings and documents and check in with our confirmation sheet with priority. Without any return receipt, we can not guarantee the availability of accommodation.
    6. In consideration of the huge number of exhibitors, we regret for non-availability of pick-up service.

    card. The launch and supper will be arranged by the organizer and enjoyed with
